How to use the CONFIG Tool:
Easily adjust the user options for your CHOMPI using the CONFIG tool, a web-based settings app that let’s you change a multitude of functions and controls within your device.
Choose Your Preferences
- “Record Latch” is a toggle, “Off” is gray and “On” is pink
- “Midi In Channel” is a slider or number entry, with a range between 1-16
- “Midi Out Channel” is a slider or number entry, with a range between 1-16
- “Tape Slew On” is a toggle, “Off” is gray and “On” is pink
- “Monitor Position” is a dropdown menu, with options 1, 2, or 3:
1: Routes the dry input monitor to the CHOMPI Buffer, outputting only to the headphones when the mode switch is up.
2: Routes the wet input monitor through the Sample, FX, and Looper engines, outputting to both headphone and line outputs.
3: Routes the AUX input to the headphones, using the Master Out as an FX send and AUX input as the return. - “Pitch Quantize in Shift Menu” is a toggle, “Off” is gray and “On” is pink
Download File
After selecting your desired settings, click the “download file” button to export an options.json file directly from the web app.
Insert the micro SD Card Into Your Computer
Using a standard microSD card adapter, load the SD card onto your computer just like any other external hard drive or storage device
Load File Onto Your CHOMPI micro SD Card
Replace your current options.json file on your CHOMPI micro SD card with this newly downloaded one. Then eject from your computer, insert back into CHOMPI, and your options will instantly update upon the next boot-up!
